Vasilisa Marinchuk ounding membee, Center Blockchain of Catalonia

Vasilisa Marinchuk is leading communications and partnerships efforts at BSV Hub Dubai. She  is also one of the founding members and director of international relations and engagements at Center Blockchain of Catalonia and managing director of international conference Democray4all – Blockchain for Governance. She remains a visiting lecturer at the National Research Institute – Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia). Vasilisa holds an MBA degree from a top ranked university IE Business School (Madrid, Spain). With 10 years of diverse project and strategy management experience she joined the blockchain industry back in 2016 and since then devoted most of her efforts to ensuring wider blockchain adoption. Vasilisa also often speaks at international events and conferences related to blockchain, digitalization and new technologies including AIBS summits.

Samina Rizwan Country Head, Code for Pakistan

Samina Rizwan is Country Head at Code for Pakistan, where she builds support for civic tech initiatives and leads the effort to scale engagement with the organization’s key audiences, including government partners, civil society alliances, and funding agencies. 

Samina is passionate about the application of Information Technology to achieve better outcomes for communities. With over 30 years of experience in G2G and G2C processes and program strategy, Samina has spent the better part of her career at Oracle in various positions. Her last assignment was Vice President of Key and Lead Accounts, ASEAN region, where she took stewardship of Oracle’s most critical customer accounts. Prior to that, she led the ECEMEA Analytics & Big Data team, which architected and deployed data management platforms for customers. Well-versed in scaling companies, she first joined Oracle in 2001 as Managing Director, South Asia Growth Economies, and established Oracle’s presence in her native Pakistan, before growing Pakistan’s leadership to manage additional countries in the region, including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Afghanistan.  Samina began her career 30 years ago in Washington, D.C. as a Systems Analyst for American Security Bank Limited, and subsequently served as Director, Information Systems, for Paktel, a subsidiary of UK telecom company Cable and Wireless before joining Oracle. Samina has served on the board of Khushhali Bank Ltd., as well as USAID’s Competitiveness Support Fund. She was an executive member of the Oracle Women Leadership Committee, and is a Certified PMP from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Certified Director from the Institute of Corporation Governance, IFC. Currently, Samina is on the Board of Governors of FMTI PIMS, Islamabad. Samina was the founder of Rizwan Scholars, which sponsored tertiary education scholarships for students from underserved communities in Pakistan. Samina maintains a strong interest in Pakistan’s startup ecosystem, investing in early-stage tech startups. She holds an Executive MBA from the Lahore University of Management Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from American University in Washington, D.C.

Hufsa Munawar is a marketer by education and community builder by passion with more than 8 years of experience in the tech ecosystem. After completing her education from the Netherlands, she returned to Pakistan to join the IT workforce. Her expertise lies in designing and executing impact driven efforts for the tech ecosystem, with the objective of empowering our youth and building our talent pool for unlocking Pakistan’s digital potential. She also enjoys meeting people and hearing their stories

Maryum Zahid Head of People & Culture, SadaPay

Maryum Zahid is  a People & Culture expert. She is passionate about bringing change to the industry. She has hands-on experience in Business Partnering, HR Strategy, Employer Branding, People Engagement, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Recruitment, HR Policies & Documentation, and Organizational Development. Currently she is working as the Head of People & Culture at SadaPay and a part of the founding team. 

 

Eisha Zeb Senior Community Manager, National Incubation Center Islamabad

Eisha Zeb is currently working as the Sr. Community Manager at the National Incubation Center. Having worked with over 240 startups in her career, her core expertise include strategy, project management and large-scale public sector transformations across non-profit organization management and economic development. In her last position as the Program Director for PlanX and The MIT Enterprise Forum, Eisha managed to implement and execute a training for aspiring women entrepreneurs who were engaged for a comprehensive skill development program in collaboration with Facebook’ Program of She Means Business.

Li Huizi CEO, Keyi Technology

Lise Li is a founder and CEO of Keyi Technology which is a Shanghai-based blockchain company, providing consulting and educational services to global enterprises and universities. Graduated from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE, Beijing) and with years of work experience in the Blockchain industry, Lise has a deep understanding of blockchain technology and Fintech. She is currently dedicated to advocating BSV  Blockchain technology as Head of China Hub, speaking at many industry and academic conferences.

Maliha Javed Khan is an entrepreneur and Ed-tech enthusiast. Currently, Maliha is serving as Director Learning and Development at [email protected] – Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT and ITeS, helping address the gap between quality of skilled resources and industry requirements. Previously, she served as Director Content Development at Pakistan’s largest education technology company and has led multiple educational content development and research projects. Passionate about building businesses, Maliha has worked with some of the country’s flagship entrepreneurship-related initiatives that work with startups and small businesses, mentoring them for growth and scale. She was also co-founder of Pakistan’s first online insurance retail platform.

 

Ayesha Tariq Sethi Founder, Sethi Learning & Company

Ayesha Tariq Sethi Human Resource Professional with a strong foundation in business strategy. Since the past one decade, she has been actively engaged in developing business acumen through both learning and work experiences in areas of Project Management, Internal Audit, Corporate Strategy, Operations, and Leadership Development both in Pakistan & Istanbul. This holistic business background with 360 degree understanding of the interdependencies of different functions empowers me to drive HR, L’& OD initiatives that are more aligned to business strategy and companies’ long term vision.

At present, she;s committed to Organizational Development (Performance Management, Transformation Journeys, Digitisation, Culture) and developing hybrid learning journeys that blend classroom learning with digital experiences. Having trained more than 800+ employees across listed companies from banking, insurance, FMCG, & power sector, I combine strong communication skills, stakeholder partnership experience with the ability to design HR systems & processes.
